Church mission: (1 Samuel 22:1-5)
1. To train mighty Pastor And Evangelist from all over the Country
(Genesis 2:12)
2. To Establish refuge Churches (cave of Adulam) for those are in distress, discontented and in dept in the primary cities (capital town) cities, town and barrios and up to the remotest part of the nation.
Church Purpose.
A. Primary Target: The Distress, Discontented and in debt
Rationale:
these are the Kind of people who will truly give praise to God When they were delivered of from distress,discontentment and debt through the Gospel of Christ.
Distress- People who are suffering (spiritually, physically and materially) and almost lost hope to live.....
Discontented- People who may be rich or poor but has no find satisfaction in life.......
In Debt- People who do no have the material or ability to pay liabilities.....
B. 5 Purposes of the Church....
1. Togetherness- We show that we are God's Family through fellowship (1 John 1:7)
2. Worship- We Celebrate God's Presence in worship (ps 89:9 ps: 95:1-7)
3. Evangelism- We communicate God's word through Evangelism (matt 28:18-20, John 6:68)
4. Leadership- we educate God's people through discipleship and leadership trainings..... (eph. 4:11-13, Matt. 28: 18-20)
5. Function We demonstrate God's Love through service ministry....
Strategies.
1. Developing strong Church Leaders- Leaders are the Pillars of the Church.
strong Church Leaders are develop through discipleship and leadership trainings.
building a strong Church is likened to the Construction of a strong Concrete building. First Deep excavation were dug to reach the underground rock of the hardest ground (primary ground)to lay the Foundations of the pillars. Second, the skeletal system of the pillar is prepared using standard steel bars in such a way that there are corner steel bars and stirrup. Third, the Concrete cements prepared by mixing proper proportion of correct sized pebbles, sand, water and cement. Finally the Concrete pillars must be properly seasoned before the molder support be removed.
In the like manner, building strong Church leaders follows good processes. The Rock of our Foundation must be dug up First (Matt 7:24-25). this is done by diligent study of who Jesus is and what Jesus want us to be.. TO BE LIKE HIM IN WORDS AND IN DEED." knowing His Traits and make them our traits. the traits of Jesus Christ are the standard steel bars, the skeletal system that make us strong leaders of the Church. if we want to be strong Church leader (representative of Jesus) let us remove our ugly traits and put on the traits of Christ. these are the Corner steel bars of love, Humbleness, meekness, and patience stirrup with goodness, kindness faithfulness,peace and gentleness enveloped with refined manners and right conduct. this is discipleship. the seasoning period is the Leadership training Period.
